MythTV Plugin "problems"
#1
Here's my basic info:
XBMC: SVN build (rev: 16580)
Linux: openSuse 11.0
Vid: ATI Radeon 3600
Aud: snd-hda-intel module (HDA ATI SB, ALC883)
CPU: AMD Phenom quad x64
MythTV: SVN build from 21-fixes branch (rev: 17867)
Capt Cards: Hauppage PVR-150 / Geniatech Digiwave DVB-S

I'm not going into too much hardware detail, as I don't feel that this is a hardware issue...

I've noticed 2 minor inconveniences when I use the mythtv plugin (using the mythtv:// url)
1) When I try to watch Live-TV, it asks wether I want to resume, or start from the begining. This happens wether it's recording or not, or wether the program was already watched or not.
i) It causes a "too-many failed attempts" error, and won't play Live-TV
ii) It does eventually work.. but it can take 5+ tries
iii) Disabling the bookmark feature fixes the problem altogether

2) When I try to watch a previously recorded TV with Closed Captioning, I lose all navigation features in dvdplayer.
i) skip-ahead, skip-back causes the video to start from 00:00
ii) no fast-foward, rewind, jump-ahead / jump-back.
iii) timeline get's skewed, and shows end 5-10 minutes earlier than they should.
iv) it's not a playback/recording profile issue, as it works on other recordings using the same settings.
v) transcoding with mythtranscode fixes the problem (as I *assume* it removes the CC features)

My Hauppage PVR-150 does fully support VBI CC (while using IVTV-1.0.3-66.1)

I tried checking trac, and couldn't find anything relating to this. If there is, then I appoligize in advance!
