Basically it would go through and do the same as the "Refresh" button in the movie information panel for all the movies/albums/possible song information. This would differ from the update library selection that is currently in place in that it would update all of the items that are currently in the the library instead of searching for new items. If there is already something along these lines (except on an individual movie/song basis) then please ignore the request, and possibly let me know where it is.

well, no. but what you are asking for can easily be accomplished by purging the db, then rescanning....
