Updated Kodi on one of my android boxes.
Installed the same add-ons no problem.
but - the download feature in the add-ons don't work.
I can set them up the same by enabling them and setting a path, but all come back saying 'stream not available'. (even though I can stream no problem).

doesn't matter what add-on I use.

I have gone back to kodi16 and the download feature works in all the add-ons with out an issue.

is this kodi trying to block out stuff - or is it a glitch?

Which add-ons are you talking about?

Legal and legitimate video add-ons don't normally have this feature.

Kodi is not trying to "block out stuff".

Kodi does not support 3rd party add-ons, it is up to those add-ons to adapt to new versions of Kodi.
