Hi,
I'm running SVN version of XBMC - "XBMC pre-9.04 SVN-16804" Compiled 1st Jan 2009, on Ubuntu Intrepid i686, up to date as of today 3/01/09.
XBMC will successfully suspend if I click on the menu bar and select suspend however it will not do this upon time out that is set in the system settings.

I have the screensaver set to 'dim' and have also tried with slideshow - no difference between both - the system still does not suspend.
System suspends fine on timeout whilst in the gnome desktop and resumes perfectly.
I'm tearing my hair out (at least what little is left....
- anyone have an idea what I might do to fix? I have tried at least 4 or 5 different SVN versions with no change.
Any help, most appreciated!
