ok, upgraded to jaunty alpha 2 yesterday, and now have no more audio output from xbmc menu nor paplayer, while i have it on dvdplayer
what is mostly noticeable is that i have no audio when loggin on to ubuntu, while i can listen to mp3 files in amarok, but in aplay -L i miss the 'default' line, it starts with front:CARD=NVidia,DEV=0 instead than with default:CARD:NVidia,DEV=0
has anyone any clue on what's going on? i can't see anything noticeable in the log, but the terminal window says "there is no soundcard" (which, i guess, is a system message as i couldn't find anything similar within xbmc sources)
another thing... when doing aplay-l (or -L) from ssh i have an error message saying "E: client-conf-x11.c: XOpenDisplay() failed" (which should be due to pulseaudio, as far as i can see)
thanks for the help, bye
