How do you guys solve the problem of different FPS in TV Shows and Movies?
Usually I have the TV Shows from 23.976 to 25 FPS and Movies mostly 24 FPS. Depending on the xorg.conf what vertical Hz I set there I can have stutter free only for either of the media group. I prefer 24Hz for movies, my TV supports it, and it works perfectly but when I start to watch a TV recording with that setting it is totally useless.
I was wondering if it is possible to change the video card vertical refresh rate based on the media somehow dynamically?
Also changing it from menus manually would be great, e.g. I could list in xorg.conf the supported resolution and from the setting could change it. (This might be there already since I see a lot of resolutions in the settings but don't see the way to change the FPS.)
