It seems as though if I do work in certain other applications while watching a video in XBMC, XBMC freaks out, fastforwards and exhibits other undesirable behaviors. Is this a known issue, or am I the only one?

work fine for me and I'm doing heavy development with large cpu loads.

well, without any other info (logs, etc), my crystal ball can't see. Perhaps if you are very detailed in explaining exactly what you do and what happens we can figure out what is going on.
