I'd like to share data between a Linux installation of XBMC and a Mac installation. The data (.xbmc) lives on an NFS server. I did an symlink from the xbmc directory to Library/Application Support/XBMC, but the only thing that works is the source folders for media. None of my metadata (Posters, movie info,etc) is showing up. Is there a way to do this; if so how? This is on a Mac Mini that dual-boots between Linux and OS X.

Also, is there any way to use the MCE remote under OS X?
