[MAC] Eject CD/DVD disc from within XBMC GUI?
#1
Question
Hi, I'm a newbie with XBMC.

I'm juste wondering how to eject a cd with XBMC as there is no eject button on my Macmini (is there an apple remote shortcut?)

-When I insert an audio cd, I cannot find any menu to eject it
-When I insert a cd with an .avi file on it, I cannot eject it.

any idea?

Actually I guess this is a feature I cannot find...

Question
Hi!

Is there a way to remap the default apple remote to eject CD?

do I need to edit keymap.xml?

Thx

Kind of convoluted, but if you go to 'My Videos', scroll to the dvd drive and use the context menu you should see an 'Eject' entry.

Hi EMHMark3

thanks for your response. I'll try.

Do you think It'll work even if this is not a DVD? (audio CD, ...)

Why don't you just use the context menu instead? Huh

In XBMC for Mac, the context menu can be displayed by high-lighting an item in the GUI (in your case the DVD-ROM) then hold the "Menu" button on the Apple Remote for about 2 seconds, (or press the "C" key on the keyboard).

Hi

I tried to eject CD using both defaut template's shutdown menu and context menu on my DVD drive

the point is that I'm able to eject "normal" audio CD and DVD's

but I cannot eject CD with .avi files nor audio CD with other multimedia files on it...
