hi guys, i've got a problem in that when i switch to library mode there is nothing displayed, even though the libaray files are still present and i can view tv show information and thumb nails / fan art in file mode, i've tried exporting and reimporting the library, which worked perfectly, yet when i went and tried library mode again it still appeared empty, anyone any ideas? cheers

it is in the library, well it was, i've been using xbmc for several months without trouble til now, the part i don't understand is that xbmc is still accessing the libaray, as i'm able to export it and reimport it. All my content is viewable in file mode with fan art, synopsis etc but library mode has just stopped working

It could possibly be that you're in a view that doesn't display much useful information in whatever skin you are in.

Try doing a Debug Log.

I have the same issues,.. not sure what I'm doing wrong,..

I have manually imported ALL my movies into the data base in file mode along with the cover art etc,.. but under libaray mode when I go into Titles
half of the movies ( or a large number more like) have the cover art but no text in the name field,.. scrolling down I find there are some with complete text and cover art my log is ove a mege so I need to mak it samller but I don't know what I can trim without damaging the info

Due to IMDb changed its layout since Camelot, the IMDb scraper is broken in it.

You have 3 choices:
- use themoviedb.org scraper
- upgrade to Dharma Beta3
- Fix the scraper: http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=81643 (4th post)

Is there something I need to do after installing this,.. I have the same problem still
and I find I can't install IMDB,.. I real don't want to reset my database and have to
load ALL my movies again

I managed to get imdb to install ( it has better movie info ) but

I found that it locked up getting that movie info so I updated to
XBMCSetup-Rev33619-dx and still have the same issue,.

steps I take:

right click select movie info
Pick the choice best suited (usually the top but not always)
it goes off to get data,.. then it loose's it and I have to crash out
