This is a bit wierd,

Running XBMC on a hyper-threading P4 3.2 with 2 gigs of RAM and an Invidia 5500 running Linux Mint 5.0

I added the folders containing my media to the library. It scanned them recursively and added them to the library totally successful.

Went to the network configuration and enabled the UPNP server. Then I went to setup the video shares and added the same folder (no scan option here?)

Went to UPNP client on JVC device and there was the folders in the right order, but they showed no moives in them! This works using mediatomb, but I would much prefer to get xbmc working as there is an Xbox on another TV I would like to add to the network eventually.

Any Suggestions?

Yes that's right I cannot get subfolders content. My PS3 reports "Network error -1" when I'm trying to browse them. I started to look into source code and documentation. It looks like LibUPNP should do the job. Is it a bug or recursive browsing is disabled in purpose?
