I have a folder of TV shows and a folder of films, in XBMC there is not a specific tv shows section so I have them in the videos section.

Both the TV shows and films folder reside on my drobo on the network. In the videos section they appear seperatly as tv shows and films,

However when I select my films folder the TV shows are in there as well, and I don't want them in there. How can I prevent this?

You need to set the content of each folder in the settings.

I think I understand, can I go back and do this or will I need to delete and start again (I am not in front of my ATV)

I think you can go back and do it without deleting.
