I recently did a system restore on my AppleTV because it was having some problems. Then, I did a patchstick installation using ATV-USB creator. I took care of downgrading the OS to 2.1. Now, I was trying to get XBMC to run. I installed XBMC Atlantic (bf1) and Launcher 2.3 through Launcher > Downloads. The problem is that I can get XBMC to open up, but the remote stops working. If I reboot the system the remote works again on the Frontrow menu. Any suggestions?

If you don't want to direct boot, Launcher 0.9 should work.

Once you patch with 0.8, update just the launcher to 2.3, then you will see the "downgrade" to 0.9.
