I am experiencing a problem with the following setup:
MSI ATX board
PCI-E Nvidia GeForce 9400 GT
Asus Xonar DX 7.1
In an Accent case with iMon VFD and PAD remote

Everything works fine in XBMC until I install the full CD provided with the soundcard. Then the keyboard or mouse control in XBMC is fine, but pressing the navigation on the iMon remote causes a blue screen reboot (BAD_POOL_CALLER).

If I copy the driver folder from the soundcard installed folder, uninstall the full software and then point the device manager to the copied driver folder to reinstall the drivers, all is fine again.

Does anyone know what in the Xonar software pack might cause this? While I have solved the problem, I would still like to use some of the utilities on the CD.

Found the problem. For those with interested, the software on the Xonar setup disk conflicts with XBMC / iMon software (not sure which exactly). By only installing Xonar drivers and not other utils on the disk the problem disappeared.
