So when you open the info dialog, there's a split-second update of the backdrop while it fades in. Doesn't matter how long the multiimage has been on its current image, it always changes when the info opens. It's surprisingly jarring when it happens every time.

Code please - unless I can reproduce it, I can't fix it. Are you perhaps using an info label for the multiimage path and this is changing due to the changed window?
