win 7 ver. 7022 crash

every time i try to open xbmc it crashes. can someone help me with this plz?

This has been covered numerous times, search the forum. You don't have an OpenGL driver installed, download one from your GPU maker's site (use the Vista driver if they don't have one for 7).

Or use Windows update if it gives you a newer video driver.

When I installed Win7 I had to do two important things to get XBMC running:

1) Update my 8.10 install of XBMC to Jester's latest build so I had all the DLLs in was complaining about at launch
2) Update the generic Win7 video driver to the latest *manufacturer's* drivers

Then it ran. IIRC, though, I also had to do #2 for XP so it's not a Win7 specific thing anyway. I figured it out with Google.

I'm not sure that the Windows Update driver includes the OpenGL ICD. Not sure if Microsoft's policy has changed, but in the past, they didn't distribute OpenGL drivers through WU. You can check to see if you have an nvoglv32.dll in %windir%\system32 (or %windir%\sysWOW64 if running 64bit).
