[VIIRUS]

so I'm a new user and I just recently installed XBMC to Windows Vista Ultimate, and when booting to the program i get the white XMBC logo on the screen then it just goes black... When i change the resolution to the TV to 720p the program appears, however a majority of the screen is cut off and I don't have the some of the menu options.

should I change the resolution to 720p before loading XBMC?

This is also a fresh install of Vista and all the latest drivers for hardware is installed.

I just started having the same issue in Win7 - and it worked fine in the past.
