Does the ATV and/or XBMC support the widescreen signal for SD widescreen displays?
e.g. I have a widescreen CRT display that can auto switch from 4:3 mode to 16:9 mode depending on what the DVD player says. This works over SCART, s-video and component. Can the ATV do this on it's component out?
On a related note, can someone point me to a description of how the aspect ratio calibration works in XBMC? It seems to work really well for both 4:3 and 16:9 content, I just can't get my head around *how* it works when the TV is in 16:9 mode all the time.
