hmm.. all i can do is not allowing MIP to download thumbs and overwrite nfo and tbn. all 3 unchecked.

Image

anything i miss? even if i say "ok, go on and overwrite the existing ones", it still creates a second .nfo like s01e01..nfo

it does no longer create those thumbs after i unchecked download tv episode thumbs. if i check it, it also creates s01e01..tbn

finally, if i understand you right, no option to change season thumb and all season thumb in MIP?
found the issue with the name, i'll put a patch together tommorrow for it
the only one it doesn't have the option to change to at the moment is the all season image.. should be able to add that to the multi-select dialog (if it's a few lines to do it, i'll add it in )
for the other season images, just change to the season tab in mip to select and change them

sounds good, thank you.

Been trying to find some information regarding trailers but haven't found any about my problem.

Before i switched to MIP i used the standard tool in XBMC to scrape movies.
At that point i could watch trailers. Yesterday i tried MIP and removed all info from my libary. When i update again (now with MIP NFO, fanart, folder image and such) i couldn't see any trailers. Is there something i have to do in order to be able to see trailers again? Can i somehow choose that the xbmc tool shows trailers as before?
Noticed a little string in the NFO files "<trailer />" does this string cause XBMC to ignore looking for trailers?

i'd say yes- on my system it points to a local trailer.

try removing that line and reload the movie, then check.

@fekker: any news on the patch?

Didn't work. The trailes showed up if i removed all files that MIP added (NFO etc) Any idea how to solve this?

have the patch almost done, adding in the season selector screen and fixing a few other things in that area that i noticed

for the trailers, "<trailer />" means there's not a url for the trailer file, xbmc should be using the information in it's database for those (unless that's changed)

i.e. in mip if you leave the field empty it should work, but i'm not sure.. best to ask the xbmc team on that one

I know that in umm, when we use xbmc's scrapers, we get the trailers in the nfo files, but i thought there was a method that came from other information in the database (again, i might be wrong)

nice, looking forward to use MIP for my shows again until umm gives me a better solution.

that trailer thing to me is a miracle; providing an url in nfo sometimes works, sometimes not. so i decided to save trailers locally along the movie files. this works very good (as long as there is no comma in the file name).

to add the episode thumbs i need to use the RELOAD INFO tab all the time for each one ,it does not do it automaticly when LOAD SHOWS or UPDATE SHOWS.
any ideas?
thanx

ok, it's not perfect, but here's 2952 that will allow you to save the season-all.tbn (or any season (up to 24)).
- use, click on any season, goto poster area, click on image, choose what to save it as.. you'll need to click on the season again in the left menu to refresh the image, it blanks it automatically as it's a hack job from two different save components to allow you to pick a different season image.

should also fix the double dot "..nfo" issue when saving an episode.

I need some help with tv show is files with multiple iso's. XBMC picks them up fine now, but MIP isn't picking them up. After a lot of trial and error I set up House season one as follows:

series\house\season 1\

with the following files:
House.S01E01-02-03-04.iso
House.S01E05-06-07-08.iso
House.S01E09-10-11-12.iso
House.S01E13-14-15-16.iso
House.S01E17-18-19-20.iso
House.S01E21-22.iso

MIP shows it recognised two episodes in green, but they are not single episodes
se17:18:19:20. Note that in episode field it shows: 17:18:19:20
and
se9:10:11:12. Same, episode field says 9:10:11:12

All episoded are also in red in the lower left corner. Tbn files have been made for only these two iso's, and I have nfo files for all but except for these two they are empty after three basic lines.

I can't figure out what is wrong. If I load them in XBMC it's fine, but I can't manage them now.

Grab the latest update (2952 or 2950) so you have all the recent fixes

I'd recommend you use the lower case format, and e for episode numbers
House.s01e01e02e03e04.iso
House.s01e05e06e07e08.iso
House.s01e09e10e11e12.iso
House.s01e13e14e15e16.iso
House.s01e17e18e19e20.iso
House.s01e21e22.iso

the following standard names will work for multipart episodes
House.s01e01e02e03e04.iso
House.S01E01E02E03E04.iso
House.s01x01x02x03x04.iso
House.s01X01X02X03X04.iso

and you could mix the episode delimiter (eExX), but i wouldn't recommend it
House.s01e01E02x03X04.iso

Thanks, I just renamed and grabbed 2952 but it doesnt start anymore in windows 7 64bit (compatibility xp sp2 enabled). will look for an older version.

[edit]: back to 2948 which runs again. deleted all tbn and nfo files and renamed
House.s01e01e02e03e04.ISO
House.s01e05e06e07e08.ISO
House.s01e09e10e11e12.ISO
House.s01e13e14e15e16.ISO
House.s01e17e18e19e20.ISO
House.s01e21e22.ISO

MIP only sees episode 10 and 20 which I don't understand. Just saw now that ISO is still in CAPS, will lower them also.

edit:

you need one of those 2 updates before you can install and run the 2952 update and successfully run it:

either 2.1.1.2941 or 2.1.1.2946

both come with updated ComponentFactory.Krypton.Toolkit.dll and miplibfc.dll, which you need to run that higher versions. MIP does not need any compatibility mode setting then.

Thanks, I did the two step update and it runs 2952 now. Only problem is that it still only sees episode 10 and 20. Before running MIP I deleted al nfo and tbn files, so only iso files were there
