Hi,

this may be the wrong forum, but is there a way to modify the ATV menu so it says XBMC rather than XBMC/BoxEE ?

Which file is this stored in?

First thing, if it says "XBMC/BoxEE", then your Launcher is pretty old. The current version is Launcher 2.3 (multifinder version) and Launcher 0.9.

You will see "Launcher" in the left side menu. This name can be changed but if you are not comfortable with ssh/nano, it's not recommended.

OK, well I simply downloaded the ATV patchstick for windows B11 from the google site yesterday, so figured that was current. Must have been wrong.
How do I upgrade the launcher to the latest?

I am confortable with ssh, so if you tell me the file, I will adjust the menu to suit.

atvusb-creator != launcher. atvusb-creator creates a patchstick with a launcher as a payload.

That's the source code for launcher. Make sure you look at the tag that matches your version.

contains the left-side name. this is not an ascii file, it's unicode so you will have to edit with an editor that understands unicode.
