Am I doing something wrong? (remote control options)

So with 2.3 of the Apple TV, you can add dedicated buttons and use a reasonable remote (for example an old TIVO remote I had laying around).

For the life of me, I can't figure out how to make these buttons work in XBMC for the AppleTV.

What am I doing wrong? This isn't a universal macro remote, so the UniversalMode isn't what I'm looking for.

Am I missing something? or does this support just not exist yet?

So I'm using launcher 2.3... do I need to downgrade to 0.9? (I assume no, just need greater than 0.8). Is there some setting I need to set?

I can use the up/down/select buttons on my tivo remote in the Apple TV menus, but not in XBMC.

Any other advice? Thanks for helping.

use Launcher 0.9, that will give you back learned IR remotes.

Launcher 2.3 works a different way.

It's confusing if you don't read the release notes. Launcher 0.9 actually came out after launcher 2.3.

of course Smile Thanks for the help. I'll post that everything is fine once I install launcher 0.9
