Ok< I am using Metax right now to get meta data for my movies in my library. Its ok, but i dont like some of the descriptions it generates for movies. I would like to be able to get information like xbmc does. Is there away to take the info xbmc finds for movies and export that file? maybe then i could manually update my files with info from said file?

tried to edit but didnt work...

is this file on the atv somewhere where i could pull it off and look at it on my mac

Try an external scraper, they will put all info, thumbs and fanart into your movie folder.
Those files you can customize as much as you like with the external scraper or by hand.

Xbmc wil scrape those files into your library.!!

edit : sorry didn't look right. Those programs are for windows, you have a mac.

i really just want to back up the file on my atv, everytime i update or whatever i lose all my editing i did to my files. like the german names of movies or Japanese movie art
