can you guys please post more details of your setups. i can't replicate any of these problems.

It is working fine with playing related artists videos. i have no issue what so ever. i really need you guys to give me more info or issue simply can't be tracked down and fixed.

please post specific information on what is happening.
please post your platform and what SVN version you are running.(this requires a recent build of xbmc)

I am running XBMC rev 19082 on windows xp sp2.

I tried running the Pumpkin Soup video by Kate Nash again. When it appeared to lock up I just sat and waited and eventually it unfroze. The video never played though. Below is the log. There are a couple of error message but I don't know what they mean.

what version of xbmc are you using? 8.10 Atlantis won't work...

Sorry. I'll use paste bin from now on. I am running a community build of 8.10 the Rev number is 19802. What do I need to be running? If the answer to this should be obvious I'm sorry. I am still trying to get the hang of this.

I think this is a typo as the highest SNV revision number as of today is 19102. If I had to guess, I would suspect your XBMC build is not new enough to include some function necessary for this specific type of streaming video.

just a little update. i tried several of the problematic videos in the new t3ch build and they seem to playback correctly.

the down side is that none of the h264 streams decode any audio or video. it seems to stream them but just not decode them. not sure what the problem is. the previous behavior was just stuttering on the h264 stuff.

edit: nevermind. it seems that mtv had just updated a few videos i tried to include the correct mp3 id in the header. nevermind sorry the bug is still present

i'm on the xbox and just installed the 2009-04-23 T3ch and discovered some issues.
there are a whole bunch of items that show as MTVN such as in Search By Artist all of the letters show as MTVN instead of A, B, C, etc. I was able to search for Lifehouse and it played Hanging By a Moment very well though. unfortunately, the static issue is still present (at least in the Fountains of Wayne song Stacy's Mom which is the only one i remembered off the top of my head to be a problem).

thanks for the plugin though. i'll check out the other ones and post in the appropriate threads if i see anything else that Babylon has caused to have issues.

Think you'll find thats a little glitch in the new build, it happens with a few of the plugins - can't remember which ones exactly but FastPasstv is also affected. Hopefully someone is on the case and it will soon get fixed.

all of the videos play fine but all i get for sound is static...anyone else had this issue and found a fix for it?

(EDIT)after reading a bit more i see that this is a known issue nice plugin hope it gets working properly in the future.
i tried loading 15 or so videos from various artists thinking maybe some of them would work but didnt have any better results)

Someone had a fix but I do not know if it was a setting from 0 to 1 in the python script or in an xbmc component?

--I too hope this gets addressed, was told it was an xbmc issue but after three sub-releases the issue still exists....
