I was wondering is there anyway that I can run windows media player on my desktop computer (Windows XP Proffessional) and be able to watch it on my tv using xmbc. I got it working with TVU player using a script and it worked fine, I got it to stream with xmbc, but when I tried to create a script with windows media player same way it isn't working. Can anyone please help me. Thanks

Does anyone know if I can stream windows media player 11 from desktop to xmbc. Thanks, any help is appreciated.

I believe you have to be using Vista for WMP to support UPnP, which XBMC supports.
This is out of the box, perhaps someone has a creative solution.
