Hello,

I broke my sounds somehow in ubuntu 8.10. Alsa- or pulse drivers won't work anymore, only oss-driver gives me some sound from tv speakers. I use xbmc and vdr together in my htpc, and I can get vdr working wit --audio=oss parameter.

But how about xbmc? I have changed ubuntu's sound system to use oss from graphical way, but I assume that xbmc still don't use those drivers? Can I change that setting somewhere xbmc config-files?

I'm using Arch and we have shell script /usr/bin/xbmc in there we can set the audio driver export SDL_AUDIODRIVER=alsa
