greetings,
I have noticed that the volume within xbmc is noticeably lower than the ubuntu desktop on the same PC. And I have this problem for all my xbmc installations (4 PCs). For example, if I adjust my speakers to a comfortable volume for ubuntu log-in screen/sound, I definitely have to crank it up a notch or 2 in order to get the similar volume within xbmc.
I've used the volume control both for ubuntu desktop and xbmc and they are all already at the maximum. All PCs are using analog output.
Can hint on how I can solve for this problem?
thanks,
