Hi,
I am quite new to XBMC&Linux but thanks to the awesome tutorials on this forum and the help of the all-knowing Internet managed to install Ubuntu+XBMC+AEON Stark. I also downloaded quite a few backdrops from aeonproject.com and I would like to tailor my XMBC a bit.
I copied the backdrops to xbmc/skin/Aeon_Stark/media/backdrops/ into a subfolder called movies. If I navigate to the Customise menu point in Xbmc Aeon I now have the problem that it only offers me the XBMC home folder and DVD to choose from. If I open the home folder it shows me one folder that I must have created during the installation process but no other subfolders or anything else.
Its probably a rather tiny mistake that I am doing here. Do I have to grant additional permissions so the subfolders become visible?
