[BUG - OUTSTANDING] No way to access Settings under some circumstances
#1
Hello,

I feel very stupid: I toggle off the settings button on the home page but can't find how to go in the settings now.

I suppose that there is a shortcut but can't find it.

Thanks for your help.

It's been mentioned before in the beta forum. I'll have to come up with some crafty means of invoking the button menu from the homepage without a proper remote/keyboard.

Is there an xml that I can edit to change this setting for now ?

If you go into guisettings.xml and change the nosettings string to "false", that should at least bring it back.

Pressing the info button on the Xbox DVD remote brings up the System Information screen. Maybe a link to settings could be added to that area.

As workaround to this problem, I would like to map the "Button Menu" to a soft touch of my Harmony remote.

I can't find (in the wiki) the command needed to call this "button menu".

Can somebody help me ?

Thanks,

Eric

Button Menu = Shutdown Menu?
