Just missing the feature "Output to all speakers" in the audio and video mode.
The xbox do it and its a very nice feature, so all stereo stuff will be transformed to a "dolby digital" signal and this sounds much better.
The DTS or real Dolby Digital sources leave untouched of this on the xbox so its working perfect!!!!
In the Windows Version(tried up to Rev19082) the switch is there but doesn´t do anything, so because of xbmc is in a feature freeze this function get maybe a chance for living or better reborn
Cause the button is already there just the code behind is missing
sorry i nearly forgot important infos:
I am using a DP45 Intel board with on board sound, the ouput is via optical S/PDIF.
But tried it also on a different system with nvidia chipset, didn´t remember but also a newer one, the one with the 9300 graphic integrated in the chipset.
So think its not implemented yet, or maybe very hard to?
