I posted a comment about this here earlier, but not sure if I need to make a formal "Feature Request" thread:
I was wondering if it would be possible in showcase view to have contextual fanart fade in only after hovering on the same movie for a few seconds (kind of like the old Aeon but without the slide-over info panel effect). The reason I ask is that it is confusing when I am browsing through my library and select a movie that doesn't have its own fanart, so I see one of my movie library backdrops which is for a completely different movie than the one that is highlighted.
This might also help some of the people who are experiencing slowness or other issues with the fanart fading effects.
