Any chance of a full copy of your keymap.xml? Is this under global (I hope not)? Or one of the sub-sections?

Sorry just realized that you are running this on Mac most likely (I'm an ATV guy). At least I assume so, since you were running Plex. Just for giggles I ran your keymap on my atv and it seems to work as expected. Someone with a Mac want to step in and help?

"hold play" is not working in Global either.
<!-- hold play --> <button id="7">XBMC.ActivateWindow(PlayerControls)</button>
hmm
edit:
tried skin Pm3, PmHD and Mediastream and none works with "hold play".
Just to test i changed from this(I want to have it set up like this)
<!-- hold play --> <button id="7">Stop</button>
<!-- hold menu --> <button id="8">Info</button>
to this
<!-- hold menu --> <button id="8">Stop</button>
<!-- hold play --> <button id="7">Info</button>
And "hold menu" works to stop movie

Just throwing this out there, but is it possible that your remote is broken? I'm fairly certain if hold play wasn't working for everyone, there'd be more people complaining about it and your setup seems just fine. Do you happen to have another apple remote you can pair and try?

I normally use Windows for my xbmc, but I have it on my macbook and tried it out and hold play doesn't work for me either.
