I had a similar issue and needed to update XBMC to a more recent build to get weather working in Stark. Maybe that would work for you?

Nevermind the dozens of threads including stickies that say you need a NEWER version than Atlantis...............................................
Why don't you try compiling from SVN or just download the alpha release of Babylon: http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles..._id=671669

I can almost 100% guarantee you this will solve your problems. Next time read the stickies and the documentation at the very least. :p
