hi,
i would love to be able to record http video streams to the hdd. i currently stream digital tv from my dvb-t card in my pc to the xbox. i can watch full screen 1024x576 digital tv & change channels from the xbox. it works brilliantly, but the final piece to make a complete xbox-pvr would be to record the video stream to the hard drive. then someone like me could write scripts to assign filenames etc based on a tvguide xml etc.
this would also allow recording of internet video streams which would be useful.
is this possible, or too hard considering that streaming video could be in so many formats?
