I've got xbmc and boxee running on mythbuntu 8.10. In both i have digital output enabled using an audigy zs notebook soundcard over optical. With these settings, any videos with stereo mp3 sound work perfectly with my ac3/dts enabled receiver, but files with ac3/dts sound just produce alot of popping staticy sound. Changing output to analog with the only connection still being the optical cable allows these files to be played, but the audio come out as stereo.

Any fixes/ideas?
