how about support for mods (.xm .mod .s3m and .it for example)? maybe it would be possible to use existing libraries, such as mikmod (http://mikmod.raphnet.net/).

mikmodx has been ported btw, but only the library not the gui.

yep that's it, xbmc is running out of memory as it is so evrything should be implemented into sections so only loaded on demand
