Problem:
After updating I needed to reconfigure video setting, calibrate screen size. When attempting to open "Appearance", "Video", "Weather" or "System" in settings menu I get "Error: XBMC/Boxee exited with Status: 10". Clicking on "Programs", "Music", "Pictures" or "Network" takes me to a blank screen which I can "menu" out of.

I'm seeing "Version: 8.10.bf1 (SVN-16366M)" in the crashreporter log. please delete the crashreporter log and generate a new one. thanks

can you re-try with pm3.hd as a skin ?

That seemed to fix it. I had to SSH in and delete the skin manually.

Now another issue, my iPhone XBMC app is not connecting. First, I didn't make any changes to the webserver settings in either xbmc or the app. Second, I verified that everything was entered in correctly.

IP changes, firewalls, network routers, etc. could be anything. can you get to the xbmc webserver from a standard web broswer ?

Yes, I can access the webserver from my computer.

I did notice that the webserver is now asking for a username, but there is no option for that on the iPhone app.

look in the settings -> network. Do you have a username entered ?

Yes, there is a username entered in xbmc (default "xbmc") I had to enter it to access the webserver via my browser.

The iPhone app needs to be updated to have a "username" field in the settings.

you need to forward that to the iPhone app creator, we don't have anything to do with the development of that app.

I did get an error 10 but the player was frozen after selecting stop during play. I had to do a hard reboot.

what's going on here, this thread started as a skin problem and now has become a catch all for status 10 errors.

Just posing the logs will not help as I have no clue what the context what when the error occurred.

If you have an error 10 crash that's not repeatable, it's next to impossible to find yet fix without knowing what you are doing before and during the crash.
