So on one hand it seems logical to put the info on this page, but on the other, it's not exactly the appropriate page...

Sendclick seems to be pretty much undocumented, I had planned a review of the builtin documentation , but got sidetracked.
Having said that I do not have a clue on what the sendclick does (apart from the obvious), what the parameters are and how it differs from activatewindow in this particular application.

I agree that the documentation for performing functions is very poor. For instance, I am wondering if it is possible to link the 'delete (file)' action to a remote button but I have been unable to find even that information...

If you are using EventGhost, the plugin has the delete action built in. Or you can take a look at the wiki article regarding the keymap....
