Looks good. Would be nice if "recent" was added. Does this continue to work with the rss feed and only appear when you press a certain button or does it replace the rss entirely?

Just check the update history regularly and you can monitor the recent changes.

You can even subscribe to the commits made to the auriga branch on github to monitor them from your feeds reader. By the way: http://github.com/feeds/djh/commits/aeon/auriga

Committed.

In answer to someone's question, it only appears when you select the shortcut, at which point the RSS feed disappears. Each of the Movies, TV Shows and Music bars can be individually disabled via options.

Is the version on github supposed to have the BROWSE: Recent/Titles/ etc. etc. or just Recent/Titles/ etc. etc. ??

I took the 'browse' label out as it was a waste of perfectly good button space. And it's pretty obvious anyway.

I like the new submenu. Is there any way to select the default entry for the submenu?

Since it is now possible to directly jump to the list of studios, could you show the available studio logos from media/flags there ?

could you tell me where to find the second back drop (with girl)? Didn't see it in the backdrops on the aeon web site.

Excellent job by the way,

While I think the ability to move the menu bar up and down is neat, it seems kind of gimmicky. Especially since you can move it from the settings menu. What I would really like to see is to have down active that submenu and clicking on an item takes you to the default (titles) view. Just seems more logical to me.

Agreed. I'm a huge fan of cf2009's submenu mod (http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=48435). You can also lock the menu so it no longer moves up and down and that way your up/down arrows will get you in or out of the submenu. It works great.

Sadly, he's not going to be continuing it's development anymore so it will lose it's usefulness as newer versions of Aeon are released.

I agree.

Quote:changed: Submenu behaviour now OnDown by default

One-touch menu movement is no longer the default behaviour for the Home
menu. Instead, pushing down on the relevant options triggers Library
submenus while pushing Select goes to default Title views. One-touch can
still be activated via the Customisation->Home menu, at which point the
submenus appear when selecting relevant Home options. This behaviour can
itself be modified thanks to Movies, TV and Music submenu toggles.
