I just switched to storing scraped data locally and upgraded to 9.04 on my aTV and it's working great. I was pleased to see that when I selected a TV show with multiple seasons I no longer got the generic “no thumb” image. Instead I got the image I had selected for the series thumb. The issue is I use banners in the Info List view so when it takes the image it changes the aspect ratio to match a box cover making it a blob. I have my folders setup as:
/Heroes/Season 1/video files
/Heroes/Season 2/video files
/Heroes/fanart.jpg
/Heroes/folder.jpg
/Heroes/movie.nfo
/Heroes/season01.tbn
/Heroes/season02.tbn
I want to add /Heroes/banner.jpg and have the banner be used in the Series Screen and the folder.jpg to be used as the thumb for “All Seasons” in the Seasons Screen. Is this possible? I’d prefer to do it this way as opposed to making folder.jpg the banner and having a boxcover saved as something like allseasons.tbn because I sync with my brother who uses Aeon which doesn’t use banners. If it’s not possible though I would be willing to do it this way.
