XBMC runs badly at fullscreen
#1
Hi,
I installed xbmc at ubuntu 9.04 with the "step by step" guide in the wiki.
Then I swithed to fullscreen at 1080p and now i have a lot of framedrops!
Vdpau is on.
I think amd x2 6000+ and an Asus M3N78-EM with gf 8300 should be enough to run xbmc smoothly!

My nvidia driver is the 180.44.

because i am a linux newby i dont no what to do now. Wink I hope anybody can help me.

This is a known issue for 8200 chipsets which can be workaround-ed by starting in windowed mode, then switching to fullscreen.

FYI, there're other threads about this issue, please use the search function next time.

The OP has an 8300 chipset. I use this same mobo and it's fine.

Rob87, please post some more detail. Use the sticky that althekiller suggested as a guide.
