Using a X360 controller, no key/mouse
#1
I'd like to just use a X360 controller on my HTPC, and not have to use a mouse/keyboard...

Right now I'm using xpadder to map buttons, and use the stick as a mouse... but that won't work if I play video games... I'd like to use launcher to launch some video games.... But the mapping that works for XBMC won't work well for video games...

http://www.mediafire.com/?sharekey=ce5b3...eaa7bc68bc thats the keymap.xml and the xbcd config that i use. Its exactly the same as on xbox only need to change <altname>XBCD XBox Gamepad</altname> to your controller name

Woohoo, got it!

When I'm in XBMC/Windows, I have the X360 configured one way... but when I load Portal (only game on my HTPC for now :p) the buttons all needed to change...

Figured it out with xpadderhook:

Just make a profile in xpadder for each application/game you want... save them... close xpadder and launch this program... choose xpadder.exe, and then choose your default (xbmc) profile... launch a game... ALT-Q... choose the profile for that game... done!

Now whenever you start the game, the controller will automatically switch...

Time to fill my HTPC up with games! Big Grin
