When playing a DVD the DVD drive it just waaay to loud. And I have 3 different ones to choose from, 2 of which are supposed to be quite for playback (or were when I bought them), but are not. Nero DriveSpeed works, but when it's running in the tray XBMC will not play the DVD. I have to launch Nero DriveSpeed, let it set the speed then close it. AnyDVD seems to behave the same way. If it's running XBMC will not play a DVD.

Are there any better options that I can try using my current DVD drives.
