It seems Im not the only one having a problem with using the external player and from the entry made by Jester; "But I want it to do X before my video launches: make a wrapper batch file or application that does what you need and then launches the player you want.".....seems that a wrapper batch file would do the trick.
I dont know the first thing about creating a wrapper batch file or where to put it once its created, so Im asking for some help. Here is what we need:
- once movie is selected, automount the file to Virtual Clone Drive, Daemon Tools, etc
- open external player to start playing movie (of course on top of XMBC)
- once external player is closed, etc, reverts back to XBMC
The first two entries are critical and without this we are a no-go.
Again, appreciate any help anyone can provide
