hi i have downloded the xbmc 2 times and tride installing and uninstaling both installers but i still get "XBMC Media Center has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." if you need the report file that it was going to send to microsoft let me know it dosent work windowed or full screen it installed fine what am i doing wrong also i couldent find my question serching the forum

Would changing the message from to:

it's not a windose update i know that because of all the 4 hours trying to look for the driver wich i had to endup moding so i could get my video card to work

my laptos video card is a ATI radeon HD 3470 graphics my laptop came with vist but i reformated it to xp

so what do i do now?

IIRC there was some stupid registry BS for ATI. Try searching the forums, I have no idea where I saw it.

You say you had to mod your driver to make it work, I suggest your mod was to break the ATI driver so it uses the default M$ one.

i can't find an ati driver for my laptop dose that mean i am dead or is there another way to get xbmc working?

All i can suggest is you keep looking or contact ATI. Thers no way they released hardware without a driver unless it is so old the OS is not supported. Dont have time to research it this now sorry
