I seem to have a few files that no matter what you do the audio drifts faster then slower, you can never fix it.

Could I guess its a poor rip?

I suggest doing a mediainfo on those file to find a commonality with the audio, then pastebin xbmc.log playing one of these files along with the mediainfo results so that we devs have some hope in hell of trying to reproduce the issue

Hi Dav, I suspected a shit rip and think I was right I did convert it to itunes compatible with isquint and it displays exactly the same issues with audio seeming to get faster and slower with the film.

I'll find a better rip.
