I recently observed that there is a sounds variation in the sounds on my apple TV. This happen in XBMC and frontrow. At first i though is was my amp which had problem. The bass kind drop for some moment. It sound like some kind very bad normalisation. But i tested it on my old'n'trusty xbox-xbmc setup and the same music played flawlessly.
Also, on xbox, when on, my amp has multiple light saying there 5.1 system, dolby signal etc. On the AppleTV, it say the signal is PCM and stereo even though the option for DTS/AC3 is on, any idea why? Both system are plugged tru toslink cables.
