hi!
it seems that imdb and allmusic is hardcoded into xbmc.
why not make a interpreter who take scipts ( textfiles) who have the instructions to take the data from the web.
some of the sites are changing their layout regulary and thus making fetching by hardcoded code hard. this can also open some new possibilities for scriptmakers to fetch data from other sites.
this way users can download new scipts and there by staying updated without compiling a new version of xbmc.
