I have my wireless 360 controller working using the Userspace Xbox/Xbox360 USB Gamepad Driver for Linux; however, I have a very annoying bug.
I use XBMC on my desktop, though am in the process of building a dedicated machine, so I usually launch and shutdown XBMC often during a single session.
Whenever I launch XBMC for the first time with the userspace driver active, I get the Joystick Plugged pop-up and everything works fine.
However, if I shutdown XBMC and launch it again at a later time (all the while the userspace driver is still running), the pop-up will appear with no text and rapidly appear, disappear, reappear, to infinity, dinging all the while. The controller still works at this point.
The Joystick Plugged message will only pop-up, ending the infinite notification process, after I browse to some random folder. Sometime its Movies, sometimes TV, its quite strange and annoying.
I feel this may be related to the userspace driver but am unsure. Has anyone else experienced this aggravating bug?
