Reduced MusicVisualisation with AlbumArt
#1
Hi there,

I've created a new Full Screen Visualisation for Aeon which only includes the most important things (including AlbumtArt).

Image

You only have to replace the content of MusicVisualisation.xml located in /skin/aeon/720p with the following code:

http://pastebin.com/f4d8d0d6d

Enjoy!

-----------------------

Further developement, same procedure.
With previous and next song.

Great, thanks! I like it minimal Big Grin

Just if you accept requests Rolleyes ... is it possible to add the codec and bitrate or the previous and next track?

Perhaps like this:

Something like this would be perfect for me!

Edit:
I thought about something like this (just work with minimal osd):

i really like this view, but i can't get it to work......i can only get the first post in the thread to work. I would skip the codec part.....i'm not interested in the codecs etc....just want to know the artist, album, song, time, next, previous.

any idea's how to get this to work? i only get a now playing bar at the top.

now that i think of it....why not copy paste the code directly from the main home menu....that now playing view is perfect, just put it down a few inches and you're done (although i understand that it's not that easy)

You have to set the osd to max (settings > customise > osd).

xml without bar and codec etc.
xml with bar and codec etc.

And you should copy this png to /media/home/nowplayingmod_info.png.

Well, that's basically what I've done Wink

How come you guys all want to know the name of the previous and next song? Is this any useful?

@iddqd: Nice work Smile

when in playlist shuffled or you want to look for the best album track, etc....there are tons of reasons why to have a next song (previous doesn't matter to me actually)

Ok, one more... Nod

This time it's not really minimal but with big cover Rolleyes

If somebody likes it, here are the files:
xml file
osd_background_big.png
osd_button_codec.png

The png's must be saved as /media/osd/osd_background_big.png respectively /media/osd/osd_button_codec.png.

I adapt the first one.

Copy the png to /media/home/nowplayingmod_info.png and take this xml if you like codec etc. or take this xml if you don't like codec etc.

Edit: Updated xml (corrected slide effect).
