hulu didn't allow boxee to stream hulu, probably because they had this on it's way out..
And no, we probably wouldn't be able to leaverage this, or rather, I personally wouldn't like to support their idiocity
But perhaps with external player if it has sane command line execution.

I agree that it's really disappointing the way Hulu (or maybe more appropriately, the networks) have treated Boxee, but I think what you mentioned is what I had in mind, perhaps just launching the Hulu Desktop app from within XBMC would be a good start.

another epic fail by hulu.
I doubt this app would have even be made if the whole Boxee soap wouldn't have happened.
